I posted a ton of videos to youtube (his bday, eating cake, opening presents, playing with Tina, singing with Gramma and Granddad). Type in "bremca" and they'll come up.
Here's a long one from this month. My fav parts are at the 5:00 and 6:55ish mark. He definately knows what he's saying even if we don't. Also, note that he hits himself in the face with the sippy cup at the end.

Destin, FL

We were able to go to Destin for our 6th anniversary and Mother's day! Nice break from Montgomery! I'm adding two posts, so make sure you scroll down or go to next post to see more videos.

After swimming in the pool I wrapped the towel around Caleb. He grabbed the edges and laid down on the chair all cozy.

Caleb LOVES straws and plastic spoons. He's determined to feed himself and drink out of a cup with a straw, but HE has to put the straw in the cup himself. Here, he's enjoying sticking the straw in my mouth.

This is from last week when we went grocery shopping. Caleb babbles like this constantly, all day, every time we're in a car, etc. B and I can hardly hold conversations in the car because Caleb talks constantly. This video doesn't really do it justice, but kind of shows a glimpse. Its cute.

Couple Random Pictures and Video

Just trying to get a couple head shots of him while he's still 12 months old! I just love his sweet little smile...melts my heart.

The video is really grainy because its from my cell phone. Anyone with fancy phones, I can probably send it to you via cell phone if you want a better view of him. On my computer, you have to turn up the sound all the way to hear him. He's making funny sounds and trying to "moo" like a cow.

Montgomery Zoo and Fire Dept. Tour

We've survived our first week at Maxwell living in a one room hotel with no AC. Seriously, no ac in family housing in muggy Alabama?? Yet they have it in the single guys' living quarters. Oh Well..Caleb's bedroom is the closet and he always wakes up with a sweaty head =) I do have to say that its SO nice having multiple sunny days in a row! I forgot what that was like.
Brandon is busy but they have lots of activities for spouses and a huge playground right outside our hotel room. On Saturday B and I took Caleb to the zoo. He would only watch the animals that moved and lost interest when they just sat there. He LOVED the lizards but other than that, was way more interested in staring at all the people and trying to take Brandon's sunglasses off his face! He did enjoy the train ride around the zoo. Maybe when he's a little older he'll like that kind of stuff!
Today we went to the Fire Department on base for a tour. Again, enjoyed watching the kiddos run around more than the truck.
